Advanced Support Programme

The Advanced Support Programme is now live and applications are closed. We selected five organisations to take part after an open application process.

The programme runs from June to December 2026 and helps us gather evidence on how the Content Store can best support EdTech innovation. You do not need to be part of the programme to use the Content Store, which continues to be accessible for all users.

We'll use this page to share any updates about the programme.

What the programme provides

Participants will receive targeted technical support and guidance, including:

  • Onboarding sessions to introduce them to the Content Store and explore potential use cases
  • Technical updates - regular drop‑in sessions with the technical team to discuss upcoming changes
  • Live support - bookable 1:1 office hours to discuss specific technical issues

Participants will also get:

  • Recognition as early adopters of the DfE Content Store public beta
  • Priority access to experimental features and roadmap reviews
  • The opportunity to request specific feature developments
  • Potential inclusion in programme newsletters and case studies
  • Invitations to future events and opportunities related to the Content Store

Eligibility

Participants' projects must not involve AI tutors or pupil-facing chatbots. These are digital tools that use generative AI to interact directly with pupils, simulating a human tutor by generating responses in multi-turn conversations.

Participants also commit to working towards compliance with the Generative AI product safety standards throughout this programme.

Feedback

We welcome feedback and feature requests from all users of the Content Store, not just those on the Advanced Support Programme.
